About Yanis Ntousias

Meditation has occurred when there is no longer a meditator

Yanis Ntousias is involved in and teaches the Path of Non-Duality, the Path of Self-Awareness.

He was born in Greece in the Larissa region, where he spent his childhood. He was a special child whose concerns and philosophical musings followed him throughout his adolescence.

He studied Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, but from a young age he felt an inner need to discover and experience "Know Thyself." Very soon, during his student years, he came into contact with the approach of Krishnamurti, the spiritual side of yoga and shamanism.

The next important step was joining the internal school of the Cognitive Movement, to which he devoted his research spirit and energy. The path of accumulating moments of "Awakening," that is, Self-Presence, and thus the deep understanding that comes from inspirational passages, led him in 1988 to experience his first significant experience, that is, the experience of another Reality in terms of what Self-Awareness is.

This profoundly transformative experience was repeated in 1989. It took another seven years (in 1996) to fully experience the reality of His true nature, where the Self Experiences What IS. (Similar descriptions can be found in Socrates, Ramana Maharshi, Buddha, etc.) Since then, the Experienced "answer" to the question "who AM I" has been established.

His investigative and subversive nature led him to become involved at a very early age with Zen Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta, the path of non-dualism.

In the summer of 1996, during a trip to India, a series of very special "coincidences" led him to Mumbai to meet Ramesh Balsekar, a student and successor of Nisargadatta Maharaj, where during that period the great transformative experience mentioned above took place.

From the Experience of His True Nature, he then leads a quiet life, engaging in discussions with people who are also on this Path.

So he created the "Omada Viosi" to help these people on their journey. Here you will find texts, speeches, and thoughtful approaches that focus on this journey.
